What does WEB do?

Village Events

In order to support the businesses of Wheathampstead gets involved in many activities during the year.  This includes Village Day, Small Business Saturday, Lights Up and various other events.

Regular Meetings

We also have regular meetings and everyone is welcome to attend these.  Every month the following meetings take place regularly:

The Turntable – every third Tuesday evening of each month in the back room at The Swan at 19.45. You’ll find a warm welcome and a receptive, pro-active and supportive bunch of people.  This is the meeting where the ‘movers and shakers’ of WEB discuss and plan the activities of WEB.

Bacon RollsBreakfast Networking held every last Friday morning of each month at The Swan 8am – 9am.  This is an excellent opportunity to market your business locally and meet new people. A very reasonable fee is asked for these to cover the venue costs with the added bonus of a delicious tea/coffee and a bacon sarnie.
Members: £5, non-members £10.

Lunch Networking held every 2nd Wednesday of each month at The Swan 12:30pm – 1:30pm.  This is another opportunity to connect with other local businesses and to market your own business. A very reasonable fee is asked for these to cover the venue costs with the added bonus of a delicious tea/coffee and a bacon sarnie.
